Welcome to the forum, Susan!

Virginia, I'm sure she won't mind you calling her "Ms. S" - - just remember, though, that no two Susan's were created the same, okay? ))ok((

Becky, I'm sure that Susan will be a terrific addition here. :)

Just FYI: Virginia's soon-to-be ex is a Susan, so she has problems addressing someone by that name. :(

Virginia

I'm sorry if my name causes you pain, I understand as other girls here have names that I have strong connections to as well.

Feel free you call me Ms S - I have no desire to hurt anyone here and I hoped my presence here would be a positve one.

my best wishes

Susan aka Ms S

We are sure your presence here will be a positive one! The only thing you have in common is the first name - - and there is absolutely no way you could share the personality trait of Virginia's ex!!

Please, Susan, aka Ms. S - - do have an enjoyable time here. We look forward to hearing more from you! :)

I chose Susan as a femme name purely because its been a name that has figured large in my life. I have been Susan for over 25 year now. Even my daughter has the name as her second name.

for example my wife's favourite flower is the lily which is (I believe) is where the name came from - Arabic I believe.

Even though I live in the UK I have travelled extensively on every continent other than Antarctica. I will be happy to share my experiences with you all.

fondest regards

Susan,
Honey, you are sweet not to take offense to my sopomoric opening and I apologize!
I love the name Susan, it is really one of my favorites along with Virginia (which, why I choose it was to pay tribute to my mother as I think she would be proud of her "daughter" - she died when I was six) My middle name is Irene again. my grandmother's name!
I am also fond of Ruth as it has a clairity of biblicial proportions! I just like most all feminine names, so again I apologize and hope you will stay and share your own "Magical Mystery Tour," with your sisters here!
Love,
Virginia

Virginia

even that name has memories for me. A girl I knew at University, we became like brother and sister and still keep in touch nearly 25 years on.

I'd be proud to call you my friend

from a fellow blondie
