Probably not, in either case. There are times when a guy needs a good pair of trousers Even though they seem to be getting more uncomfortable every day.
Kim the odd duck here again. At least one of the few more vocal odd ducks here. As I know there are more of me here and they just do not want to speak out but instead contact me via pm.
I would never purge all my male or female clothes. I enjoy wearing a mix of male and female things. Some days more or all male, some days more or all female.
>>> "Also how many of you would dress as a female 24/7 if the option was there?????? "
I guess you could say I do dress 24/7. But if it was acceptable to my wife and society, the femme clothes that I did wear would not only include the current unisex ones, but also some more feminine ones and skirts on many days. I would dress my mode and for the schedule and events of the day. And I would always dress to present my male self never wearing a wig, and little to no make-up.

I am a physically male person that likes to wear feminine clothes at times.
Just trying keep a balance for my self along with keeping my wife and kids in mind.
Although I have some male clothes left that I wear occaisionally, for the most part my wardrobe is female clothing. Now admittedly a great deal of what I wear in drab mode (such as work, etc.) are of a unisex nature, they are still from the women's department. My very loving wife has no problem with me wearing whatever female clothing at any time I wish at home and helps me with my shopping for buying those special things for parties and events when we plan to go out. If society in general was more openminded, I'm sure I would go out every day with a much more female look. So I for one would certainly purge my male clothing if the opportunity arose and we had that openminded society.

May 18, 2005 was the last time I wore any male clothes and it was only for about 2 hours, for my final divorce preceedings. Twice before that, December 9, 2004 and October 15, 2004, I also wore male clothing for about 2 hours each time, also for divorce preceedings. Other than those brief times, it has been since before August 6, 2004 that I wore male clothing.
I have thrown out most of my old clothes, other than tshirts that raven likes to wear because they are concert shirts or raiders shirts. I don't beleive I will ever wear male clothing again, at least not by choice.
No there are times when I need to wear my jeans and work boots like cutting down trees for winter firewood or tilling up the garden. But all that aside I would love to dress fem 24/7 . My wife get's upset if I show up at the breakfest table in my night gown, wig, and heeled slippers. But given the chance yes I would.
I guess I have to side with the majority here also.
There are those times when you need the tough blue jeans and ratty shirt to do those "male" things.
But, I am slowly phasing out most of my male attire right now. I've now taken to wearing womens dress pants and shoes at work. No one seems to notice at all.
But, if society was accepting of it, I would certainly dress en femme 24/7. Who knows... I could prob find some tough women's jeans for those dirty jobs too!
Nope. I enjoy my homme side as much as my femme. Nor would I crossdress 24/7 for the same reason. It would just be nice to be able present myself the way I feel on a particular day.

A dream? What is a dream, but a blueprint for courageous action.
For various reasons, most of my wardrobe is female, including the clothes I wear for work and a lot of my casual things as well. I started buying women's shoes for work five or six years ago, as a way of subtly crossdressing under everyone's nose. A couple of years ago, I started buying women's jeans, as well as shirts and other "unisex" apparel. I only own one pair of men's shoes, and those were a gift from my parents. My uniforms are company-issued, and I recently found out I could get women's blouses and slacks in place of the men's I've previously been issued, if I wanted to.
If I wanted to start dressing 24/7, it wouldn't constitute any serious hardship for me, though I imagine I'd spend more on cosmetics, as I'd need to use them more often.

I have decided to no longer buy mens pants. As for getting rid of all my mens clothes I am not sure there are things I could find in womans clothes. I have purged my mens underwear in a maner of speaking I have a GG friend that has always been masculine. When I moved to the Bay area it was her couch I was sleeping on for a while. She told me she would rather be refered to in the masculine. I gave her the last of my male underwear.

There have been a couple times when I was mostly en femme for a few days and eventually I was pretty happy to have my guy clothes back. And often I wear both at the same time.
There are lots of things I like about guy clothes and I have no desire to get rid of any of them.
Dressing femme 24/7 turns into work after a few days. I can see why women like to wear mens clothes.

If society were accepting I would dress femme 24/7, however there are times when I do need jeans and boots, due to the work i do.
I just returned from a months vacation,, during which time I wore totally femme clothes.
Depending on where I was, what i was doing, I would often wear what i call Gender Neutual items, slacks, tops etc, but what I was wearing was totally femme. Regardless of wether i was wearing slacks, or a skirt, i was always refered to in the Femme form, and it felt so good. I felt very comfortable being femme 24/7 for the whole month.
A for shoes, I am blessed or cursed which ever it may be, with narrow feet, and Ladies shoes fit much better than mens ever have, due to their narrower sizes. I now wear Ladies shoes, about 90% of the time, and unless some one really looks and knows shoes they would never know. I also wear femme underclothes now full time, and i like the feel of them so much better than mens underclothes.
I have not bought any mens clothes now, except maybee a pair of shoes for about 3 years, and i also find that ladies Jeans and slacks, fit me better than mens do.
It will take time, but i sincerly hope that in time, society will be more accepting, and we will be able to dress as to how we feel the most comfortable
