Shaved year round

Post by Joann NJ »

Girls, I'm looking for some support on keeping my legs shaved year round. Usually in another few weeks, the shaving stops in preperation for spring and summer. I'd like to stay smooth shaven but need some advice or encouragement. Thanks.............
Enjoy today, cause this ain't a dress rehersal!

Well, I really can't think of too much advice I could give, but certainly some encouragement.

I've stayed completely shaved for going on three years now. I LOVE the look and feel of smooth skin, and really could not imagine not shaving. I'm somewhat fortunate in that I'm not too hairy to begin with. So, it's not such a major change and doesn't take me long to keep it up.

What I can tell you is that most people don't pay attention, so I really wouldn't worry much about it. Besides, look at all the bikers, swimmers, etc that stay smooth for their sport.

Go for it.... you'll never want to go back again!

Shaved the year round

Hi, I agree that there is nothing better than fully de-furred from the neck to toes. I love the feel of sliding my stockings on over cleanly shaved legs and my bra on over a lovely hair free breast 1kiss
Keeping them cupped comfortably.

OK, I will try and recall the responses the last time that this came up!
First, as one of our sister's has noted, AND assuming that your SO is OK with it!!!!! NO ONE WILL SAY A THING, EVEN IF THEY NOTICE!!!! If they do, some responses!
Thanks for noticing!
Oh, yes, I have a highly communicable disease that causes that condition. (It's caused by interacting with stupid people.)
Wow! I did not notice that, thanks for being so observant! (Would you mind helping me look for it and where it may have fallen out?)
Yes, I shave, because I am an athlete. In my sport (fill in the blank)_______, biking, swimming, body building, ping pong, golf, skiing, powerlifting, race car driving, sky diving, base jumping ----it gives me a distinct advantage.
My (fill in the blank) __________ wife, girlfriend, boyfriend, coach, preacher, boss, God! --- makes me do it!
I shave just to watch stupid people react to it! Now what were you saying?
Keeps me from absorbing the cosmic rays into my body that hair attracts.
I work for "Round-Up" and there was this industrial accident!
Must have been something I ate - or did not eat!
and the list goes on!
Don't worry about it and there is no law against it and my Old philosophy was, "the only person you have to impress is the one that signs your paycheck!"
Shave and walk proud!

Missy really should be the one posting here, however.....she was burning trash and thought she had old kerosene that she threw on the fire - blasted her hair clean off her legs!! It never grew back so like it or not she shaves a tad here and there but has legs as smooth as a babies all year round <G>!! I'm sooooo jealous - she just taught me how to shave my legs with a straight edged razor!! I used to use Nair until they changed the formula and now I get a chemical burn every time I use the stuff and my electric razor doesn't work very well!! She's a blessing!!

Anyway if you have light hair - go for it....or tell people that you're a swimmer - shaving your body cuts down the water resistance and increases your time <WEG>!!

Like Stormy said I have been hairless on my legs for many years now...and only a few have ever asked or commented about it. It was a painful way to get there. I have very little body hair--almost none on my chest so keeping that shaved and underarms is no big deal. And it is nice to be shaved. Many advantages, not the least being how nice it feels.

So, if your SO is ok with it, find a good snappy response that you can be confortable with (I wouldn't be as harsh as some of Virginia's suggestions -- well maybe there are a few people I would use those lines on).

Its about you having the self confidence to do it. And if you do, no one will give it a second thought!

I do have to say that one reason that my wife has not noticed my shaved body, is I am part native american. I don't have a lot of hair on my body other than my head. So when I shave my body, not even my wife notices it. LOL It is the one thing that my sister always talks about, that she doesn't have to shave that often because of this.

My husband can blame me. I met him shaved and when he grew his hai back hated it on his legs and chest! Needless to say the shaving continues :) . The chest hair being shaved or waxed is the in thing to do now anyway.

If asked you could just say I keep them this way because I am a crossdresser -- that will either shut them up or they won't believe you   sometimes hitting folks with the truth makes them think the other

Or you could just ask them why they want to know onus is then on them to explain why they are so interested in your legs

Hi ladies,2006 was the first year that I kept my legs shaved all year long...well, almost. I just didn't have a lot of time in November or December. Just too many things going on those months. Starting on Jan 1, 2006 though, I decided to see what it would be like to keep them shaved all year. Winter months are really no big deal. We wear longs pants anyway. But around May, when it was getting warm, my SO asked if I was going to stop shaving for the summer. I proudly stepped up and stated I was going to keep them "silky smooth" all summer long!

I'll admit I was more than a bit nervous the first day I put on shorts to work outside. Actually I was really worried about what to say to my kids (15 yr daughter and 13 yr son) when they noticed. I was shocked and a little disappointed when neither of them said anything to me. I figured they'd ask their mother. But Amber said "No, they said nothing to me." So I waited. I figured eventually one of them would notice and say something. The whole summer went by and not one word uttered! I wore shorts every weekend, and took the kids to the community pool, played with them outdoors...and nothing! I was almost upset by this! None of my neighbors said anything, nor did my coworkers at the company picnic.

It would seem, that I was ready to defend myself against an adversary that never materialized. Now, looking back, I am amused at the whole ordeal. I got myself all worked up, sure that I would have to make some far fetched excuse for keeping my legs clean shaven. It certainly assures me of this fact: I am my own worst enemy! ](*,)

So JoAnn, if you want to shave your legs then just do it! I doubt anyone will say a word.

Hugs,
Kyra

I have been shaving for about ten years now and no one (other than some male friends) has ever mentioned anything to me. As far as some of the joking from my friends I just say my wife likes them smooth and shes the one I sleep with and if shes with me she would agree. that usually shuts them up.
