which combination does it for you?

General talk about CD/TGing and gender topics that aren't necessarily fun things we do while en femme, or for gender-driven discussions.

which combination does it for you?

Post by Kerri »

..^.. Hi Kerri here,

I want to know just what combination does it for you?
I refer to the essential feminine elements which together produce a feeling of wellbeing.

Every girl needs to have the essential elements to feel like a real girl.
Our feminine urges demand we dress like a girl, but its not always possible to get to the ultimate level.

Starting with the base line that a genetic girl is feminine no matter what she wears. What do you need to wear to satisfy your urge.

Right now, I am wearing an outfit which is androgenus. My reason is that I am alone in the house, but it is daytime. I need the house to appear normal, ie the curtains are open, and there is a window open to let in some fresh air.
I dont want to hide in my room wearing my ballgown, I would feel trapped and the value of being dressed would be wasted.

So I have on a nice bra n pantie set with prosthesis, light hose, a pretty cami top and a scoop neck lemon tee. Below I have my regular drab jeans and a pair of flats. I have no make up or wig on, but have a lght spray of perfume.

Dressed like this I feel confident enough to wander round the house, and if I wear a unisex lightweight jacket sufficiently inconspicuous to walk the dog on the beach.

But it doesnt feel complete, my urge is not satisfied. If I can only add one more thing. What would I need to feel complete, and satisfied?

I would like to hear your views, on the essential elements. And on what I should add to feel complete and satisfied.

Hi Kerri,
For me, at a minimum, I have to have a bra with small forms, panties and thigh highs, pants and loose fitting shirt.

I also have to be fully shaved to get the feeling I need. It is an obsession now, so the nylons feel just right.

I just bought several camis and I will add that under my clothing, but that is as far as I will go for now.

Does this fully satisfy my urges? No, it doesn't. I can get a full thrill only by fully dressing, although I do not need to put on makeup.
Huggs,

Kerri,
In my case it's all the way or no way. Now I dress everyday complete from head to toe. I guess it's my mother coming out in me as she was a complete lady all the time. Working in the business world back in the 50's she was dolled up from head to toe always. My favorite time is when the grand kids are gone for the weekend and I can wear a lovely dress and put on my nails.
Oh how I love painted finger nails. =D>

Where we are on the CD continuum is where we are, and if you even find your place on the continuum that is a good thing, no matter where you are.
I don't think one place is any better than another, it is just where you are, and if you seek out another place that is a good thing, too!
What expresses my femininity to me? Well, it is how I interact with people and how they react to me. Historically, I can go back and just look at my driving, I have become much more curteous mostly all the time, even if I am on the road between 11:00 and 3:00pm around here. The "senior citizens" are out in force and they can sure try your nerves, but it also builds character!
If I am "en drab" and interacting with folks, male or female, I love the '?softness?', the empathy, the caring, that Virginia exudes. Reaching out automatically and touching someone on the arm, looking them in the eye, smiling, that is what brings out my femininity!!!! It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside to have them respond to me, sometimes with a questioning look but with acceptance.
Oh, don't get me wrong, see my pictures in the photo galley, yes this girl loves to dress up and go out, but Virginia is Virginia 24/7 and I love it!

It differs from day to day.

Much of the time, panties is enough.

Sometimes I feel the need to add hose.

Occasionally, like now I wear a skirt and blouse.

Kerri:
For me, it is the feeling of being comfortable and first and formost knowing that what I am wearing is the women that I am. The enviroment that I am in dictates the clothing and fashion that I am wearing, even though my expressions are very conservative and my dress is of my age.

Many days, I will have panties, pantyhose, bra, and cami on under my drab clothing. I also will have makeup, powder, and lipstick on. I go to work this way and no one notices at all. I also have long acrylic nails.

Kerri usually I am dressed sort of like you but I wear a skirt instead of the jeans. No makeup, wig or perfume, no shoes.

The house is set back far enough from the street that you can see in the windows (open from April to October) but can't see what I'm wearing. My office is in a discrete location where I can see out better than people can see in. But a couple of times I have done a real quick change when I've been surprised. It's amazing how fast I can be.

For me I when I wear a skirt I feel more Fem. However I wear what I want most of the time. I do not try to feel fem, I just try to be me.

If I was home alone, I would have on panties, bra (no forms), ladies slacks, a large ladies T-shirt, ladies socks, and ladies loafers. I would also have makeup, powder, and lipstick on. I could wear this even if I needed to goto the store for something.
When I first came to Dallas, I would wear this kind of outfit evenings and on weekends. My sister didn't even notice that the slacks had no back pockets and no one else did either. Totally dressed en fem, but still looked like a male, all at the same time. On occasion, I would also wear pantyhose and then I would not wear socks.

Panties always and lately I've taken to wearing a bra all day long. I found that I have the cutest little breasts  but I can still go out with a lite jacket and not be noticed. Pany hose under a panty girdle in tight jeans makes me feel really fem too.
Love,

Whether I am going to be in just a top and jeans, or a skirt, for me, I never feel dressed/right until I have applied my lipstick.

I'll never forget, during the first stages of my transition, when my "head doc" sent me to a fashion/makeup consultant, and we were in her studio. This woman sold a highend line of clothing out of her home, and also did makeup consultation to "real women" (which, at that stage of my journey, made me very nervous; would she accept a freak like me?), and after trying on clothes upstairs, went downstairs into the makeup studio.

I don't even think I was crossdressed at the time (I really can't remember, then, as now, I drink too much), but she went ahead and did her "thing" with the makeup. Base, cheeks, eyes was all good, but it was when she applied the lip color that my stomach did the "flip"!

Even though the "flip" is nowhere like it used to be, it's still the lip color that "makes" me a woman.

Hey, thanks to all for your interesting take on getting the most out of your CD experience.

My essential elements must be perfume, high heel courts, and a dress.
If any one is missing I feel shortchanged.

It was interesting to read your replies.
Take care

Kerri
